I couldn't help but post these photos of trees. They were beautiful and wonderful, and I knew Nick, especially, would love them. We took their pictures at the site of the Battle of the Boyne.
Doesn't the one on the left look like the Whomping Willow, except that it's not a willow? How on earth do enormous trees like this grow in such a twisty way?
And here's a young tree, planted by the Well of the White Cow, becoming a Fairy Tree.
How? Life is a spiral, like DNA.
